HONOLULU, Hawaiʻi — The Day I Decided to Take Back My Wellness Summit, January 30–31, 2026

"We are not executives stepping away from a system we once controlled. We are practitioners who have spent decades working with people, listening, learning, and watching what actually supports healing. Wellness cannot be performed. It must be lived." — Clan Mother Shifa Ali Scott, Founder & Visionary

Many people are doing everything they are told to do for their well-being — working hard, caring for others, following advice — yet still feel exhausted, alone, or quietly struggling. The Day I Decided to Take Back My Wellness Summit, a virtual gathering launching this January, speaks to that reality by offering relief from carrying everything alone, permission to stop pretending they're fine, and a way to reconnect with wellness that fits real life — not perfection.

Created by Oneness Wellness Lifestyles Foundation, the summit normalizes being in process, removes shame from struggle, and replaces performance with presence.

The summit marks a clear departure from performance-driven wellness culture. Rather than polished stages, influencer narratives, or pressure-based transformation models, the gathering centers lived experience — voices shaped by caregiving, recovery, long-term practice, and real-world responsibility.

The Foundation is devoted to creating the conditions where people can recognize what is already whole. Rather than offering programs designed to fix or optimize individuals, the Foundation focuses on cultivating environments — what it calls resonance fields — where clarity, agency, and integration can emerge naturally.

"We spent years participating in systems that rewarded performance, even when it didn't feel aligned. This summit is about coherence over convincing. We're creating space where people don't have to earn rest, healing, or belonging." — Mz. Felicia Muhammad, Co-Founder and Media Lead
